I might be thousands of miles away, but all my love and thoughts are with granny, mum, Auntie Linda, Alistair and Catriona today. Gran was such a strong and resilient woman. Today I remember her chuckle as I asked her to “follow that rabbit” around the garden. I remember our sightseeing trips together to Scottish cities. Our walks over the auld brig. I recall taking me to see Toy Story, the Mighty Ducks and Apollo 13 at the cinema. I remember tasty soup and delicious pies, all followed by a good cup of tea. I remember a smile and a sparkle in her eye. I remember, and I honour her. Rest now granny. X
